How to create innovative and win-win strategies for cooperation with Chinese enterprises
Allow us to help you create innovative and win-win strategies for cooperation.
Many companies from Western countries are searching for appropriate and effective approaches to doing business with Chinese enterprises. The cultural differences and unfolded myths that are encountered in this process can be perceived as barriers for success and may lead to discouragement and confusion.
Emma Luten & Associates has developed an approach that will help the participants to make constructive use of cultural differences, to think in possibilities, and to make best use of each others’ strengths and capabilities. The approach is based on the assumption that, in most organizations, sufficient knowledge is available to successfully plan the future. However the problem is that organizational structures and internal climates do not always encourage the utilization of this knowledge in an optimal way. Creating awareness and providing participants with a practical toolkit that will enhance constructive communication and creativity forms a key element of the approach.
The purpose of this program is to help individual Chinese organizations and separate Western corporations to explore and develop ways and means to collaborate successfully. The program delivers perspectives, skills, frameworks and mindsets that facilitate this highly challenging journey.
Each program is designed to meet our clients’ specific requirements and needs.
Every program is designed to meet our client’s specific requirements and contains the following two components.
The main components are:
A. Planning and formation of a “core team”
A “core team” of decision makers, key stakeholders, representing both parties needs to be formed. This team needs to be extended with relevant expert resources. (Preferably the team should have eight members maximum)
B. Innovative Teamwork training (2 days)
Participants: the “core team”
This training provides participants with shared, practical tools, techniques, insights and procedures that get people working together across hierarchy, culture, experience, attitude and age. It will bring new dimensions to teamwork by cutting through conventional barriers.
The participants will work together to develop “new thinking” on real challenges and issues that are of high importance for them as a team.
Apart from acquiring new skills and a shared toolkit, they will also leave the program with new ideas and action plans for the challenges they have chosen to work on.
C. Facilitated idea generation sessions that result in a blue print with clearly identified directions, roles and responsibilities for the future
Participants: “core team” and other relevant expert resources (depending on the challenges and issues that will be addressed in each session).
Planning: Challenges and issues will be inventoried and prioritized.
Depending on the nature of the subjects the core team will be extended with relevant expert resources.
In the series of facilitated idea generation sessions that will follow, the tools, techniques and insights acquired in the Creative Teamwork program will be intensively practiced. Creativity techniques will be used to help the team to look upon the world with “new eyes” and get off the beaten tracks.
The team will leave the program with a shared plan with clear directions for its new journey.
ON REQUEST A “TASTER” SESSION OF ONE DAY CAN BE DELIVERED
